The history of the bakery dates back to 1921 when Velko-nákupní společnost družstev (the Cooperative Wholesale Society) was founded. After nationalization it became a state company until 1993. The current company KOMPEK, spol. s r. o. (limited company) was founded as a result of privatization. Since 1994 it has been one of the largest private bakeries in the Czech Republic of an exclusively Czech origin. Every day more than 1 000 customers and hundreds of thousands of satisfied consumers of our baked goods and confectionery products are convinced of our excellent services. Try them yourselves!
